responsibilities:
- Conduct routine chemical and physical testing on raw materials, packaging components, and stability samples following standard practices.
- Execute validated test methods using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, LC/MS, dissolution, spectroscopy, and traditional wet chemistry.
- Recognize, document, and report out-of-specification or unexpected test results and technical issues.
- Perform daily calibration and verification of laboratory instrumentation, maintaining strict cleanliness of equipment.
- Document and record all analytical testing data clearly and accurately in compliance with lab SOPs.
- Maintain strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and safety guidelines.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a physical science, preferably Chemistry or Biology (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Foundational knowledge of qualitative and quantitative chemical or microbiological analysis.
- Basic understanding of instrumental technologies and analytical techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to accurately document technical procedures and results.
- Strong mathematical skills for evaluating test reliability, variance, and data correlation.
- Hands-on experience performing chemical tests using chromatographic, spectroscopic, or other analytical equipment.
- Familiarity with quality and regulatory standards within the pharmaceutical industry.
