responsibilities:
- Conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products (Bioburden, Endotoxin, Sterility, Particulate Matter, and Water testing).
- Identify, report, and troubleshoot out-of-specification or unexpected analytical results.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot standard microbiology laboratory instrumentation.
- Draft and revise SOPs, method validation reports, and instructional documentation.
- Accurately document analytical results in LIMS in strict compliance with cGMP, cGLP, and facility safety standards.
qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or Chemistry (or Associate degree in Biotechnology/Science with relevant biotech lab experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory.
- Strong working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative microbiological test methods and cGMP regulations.
- Proven experience writing SOPs and technical procedures.
- Experience with LIMS, SLIM, Trackwise, or Documentum.
- Prior background as a technical reviewer or qualified checker.
