responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections on medical device components using micrometers, calipers, optical gaging machines, and CMM equipment.
- Read and interpret complex part drawings, blueprints, and data to determine exact product specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive lot documentation reviews to ensure strict compliance with cGMP, GDP, and ISO standards.
- Write nonconformance, rework instruction, and deviation reports when materials fail to meet requirements.
- Communicate inspection findings with operational leads and recommend corrective actions to maintain continuous improvement.
qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality inspection role, ideally within medical device manufacturing.
- Proficiency using precision measuring tools, gauges, inspection fixtures, and interpreting technical blueprints.
- Strong working knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and ISO quality standards.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for up to 75% of the 12-hour shift.
- Associate degree in a technical or quality-related field.
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software productivity tools.
