A Piping Designer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Indianapolis, IN area. This role involves supporting SPID/S3D-based piping design and documentation within the Pharma, Biotech, or Oil & Gas sectors, with responsibilities spanning model development, drawing updates, report generation, and team collaboration.

responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of piping lists and progress reports using SPID/S3D for project leads.
- Develop and modify SPID/S3D models for process and mechanical systems.
- Draft, design, and redline P&IDs/AF&IDs within SPID software, ensuring correlation with S3D software.
- Generate data and reports from SPID/S3D software platforms.
- Perform routine design tasks using defined standards and procedures, under supervision.
- Report to the department manager and functionally to project-specific organizational leaders.
- Utilize Intergraph software tools effectively.
