A Technician is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Concord, NC area. This role ensures smooth operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of warehouse automation systems, working in a rotating shift environment and requiring both mechanical/electrical skills and collaboration with operations and engineering teams.

responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth equipment and process functionality.
- Partner with engineering teams for advanced troubleshooting and process improvements.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks accurately and thoroughly.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automation systems including: Mini-load AS/RS cranes, Fanuc robots, Roller conveyors, Automation devices.
- Proficiency with Windows PCs and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to read and interpret PLC code.
- strong mechanical and electrical skills, safety-aware around automated systems.
- A.A.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology or
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with: Robots and conveyor systems, PLCs, AC/DC and servo motors, Pneumatics, sensors, valves, automation devices.
