This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team that is headquartered out of Spain. With this opportunity you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and electrical systems. This role requires hands-on experience with both mechanical and electrical disciplines to ensure the optimal functioning of automation systems.
Candidates will need to be based locally due to a long term project but have the ability to travel throughout the U.S. when needed for other projects. responsibilities:
- Install and commission new machinery and electrical components
- Support electrical installation of automation projects at customer sites
- Report progress and issues to the Project Manager and assigned Electrical Lead
- Act as a point of contact between the client and internal technical teams during installation
- Coordinate local electrical contractors on-site with the guidance of the Electrical Lead
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and
electrical Systems
- Connect modules according to height alignment.
- Level machines and assembled modular circuits.
- Anchor machines and feet to the floor.
- Install ceiling braces, including nailing, fixing, and welding.
- Diagnose and repair faults in motors, PLCs, and control Systems
- Comply with OSHA and electrical safety standards (Arc Flash, LOTO)
- Collaborate with other technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives
