Leading automated equipment manufacturer within the Greater Lebanon PA area is in search of a skilled Mechanical Installation Technician. This position will serve as the liaison between Engineering & Controls to lead all mechanical aspects of installation of companies equipment. Candidates must have 5 years of mechanical installation and setup of industrial automated machinery preferably with specialized training education. Must have experience within TIG Welding, mechanics, pneumatics and blueprint reading.

responsibilities:
- Install and commission equipment companies equipment using the customer's product to ensure proper operation and gain full understanding of the system.
- Prepare the installation and all necessary auxiliary materials for shipment and assembly at the customer's site.
- Remove transport fixtures, and organize return or disposal of shipping materials.
- Assemble equipment based on technical drawings provided by the engineering department.
- Identify and report any layout-related issues, and collaborate with Engineering on effective solutions.
- Align, connect, and adjust mechanical modules and ensure accurate leveling of conveyor and handling systems.
- Install transitions between conveyors, and verify smooth integration between all components.
- Support Controls Engineers by performing functional tests and mechanical adjustments alongside the programming team to ensure optimal system performance.
- Ensure all safety and quality standards are met throughout the installation process.
- Proactively contribute to process improvements and suggest technical solutions to improve future installations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout all phases of the project.
- Lead or coordinate other employees or subcontractors during large-scale installations when required.
