A Plant Manager is needed for one of the world's largest power management and power generation services companies in the Lordstown, OH area. This job leads the safe, efficient operation of a combined-cycle power plant, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise with Siemens systems, and experience in operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

responsibilities:
- Align plant operations and staff with client requirements and company objectives
- Oversee safe, reliable, and efficient operations and maintenance of the power plant
- Administer and enforce: Safety programs, Operations and maintenance plans, Environmental and QA/QC programs & Training and administrative systems
- Lead the planning and execution of scheduled and unscheduled outages
- Manage plant budgets, contracts, and performance metrics
- Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports, logs, and environmental documentation
- Recruit, train, and manage plant personnel
- Foster a high-morale, safety-focused, and motivated workforce
- Promote continuous improvement in plant efficiency and reliability
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
- Lead regular (at least monthly) safety meetings and inspections
- Conduct safety observations, especially during high-risk work (e.g., confined space)
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability throughout the facility
- Work in both indoor and outdoor power plant environments
- Exposure to fumes, high heat, noise, hazardous materials
- Must be able to: Stand for long periods, Climb ladders/stairs, Lift up to 50 lbs & Enter confined spaces
- Use of PPE required (e.g., respirators, FRC, gloves, fall protection)
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience as a Plant Manager at a combined-cycle facility using Siemens technology
- Deep knowledge of combustion and steam turbine operations
- Proven leadership in independent power production
- Hands-on maintenance and problem-solving experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based systems
- Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements
- Budgeting, scheduling, and outage planning
