An Operations Supervisor is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Brownsville, TX area. An experienced operations leader is needed to oversee and ensure safe, efficient startup and continuous operation of a new LNG export facility, with deep expertise in APCI liquefaction technology, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination during commissioning and early operations.

responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the operations team to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
- Ensure operations team is properly trained and assessed for their roles.
- Accountable for startup, shutdown, and continuous operation of all major LNG systems.
- Serve as the primary on-site decision-maker during operations and emergencies.
- Collaborate with other departments (CSU, Construction, Maintenance, etc.) for smooth commissioning/startup.
- Monitor plant processes via control systems and field equipment to ensure safe, optimal performance.
- Manage team workload, staffing, and resources effectively.
- Maintain accurate shift reports, logs, testing procedures, and documentation.
- Oversee commissioning/startup activities, system walkdowns, and readiness checks.
- Enforce process safety standards, manage Permit to Work system, and lead safety initiatives.
- Proven leadership and experience with APCI C3MR or similar LNG liquefaction technologies.
- strong understanding of process safety management and industry regulations.
- Skilled in DCS/control systems, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Experience managing teams and making decisions under pressure.
- Experience with LNG plant commissioning and startup.
- Formal training in emergency response/incident command.
- Knowledge of LNG regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive operations experience in LNG/oil & gas/petrochemicals.
