A Piping Designer is needed for an OEM. The Piping Designer will support new product development and process system design within an innovative engineering environment. This role focuses on the 3D layout and specification of piping systems and components for complex industrial or process-driven projects.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with SolidWorks for 3D piping design and a working knowledge of ASME B31.3 standards. The Piping Designer will play a key role in developing accurate models and technical documentation in support of engineering, fabrication, and installation.

responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and layout of piping systems for new product development
- Generate detailed 3D models and piping assemblies using SolidWorks
- Specify piping components, fittings, and process equipment based on application and industry standards
- Ensure compliance with ASME B31.3 piping codes and best practices
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to refine system layouts and resolve design challenges
- Prepare supporting documentation and drawings for fabrication and installation
