Reputable and growing organization is looking to hire (direct hire) a promotable (groomed for advancement) Plant Engineer in the Beaumont, Texas area.
This opportunity comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $85k to $120k plus an annual bonus of 10%. Relocation assistance is available.

responsibilities:
-Plant Engineer will be responsible for supporting the operations and maintenance of the plant, ensuring efficient, safe and compliant processing of hazardous waste materials. This role will oversee the technical aspects of plant operations, including process optimization, equipment maintenance and adherence to requlatory standards.
-Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes and maintaining safe practice at all times
-Monitors and optimizes incineration process to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
-Ensures that all plant systems are functioning within established parameters and safety standards
-Collaborates with operations staff to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in the plant
-Leads diagnosing and resolving equipment malfuctions or failures
-Ensures compliance with Federa, State and Local regulations reqarding hazardous waste management and incineration processes
Education:
-Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering (required)
Experience:
-2 years of relevant engineering experience including co-ops or internships
Competencies:
-Understanding of engineering principles and hazardous waste management
-Familiarity with safety regulations and enviromental compliance requirements
-Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
