Quality Engineer located near Elk Grove Village, IL for a leading manufacturing company. This role is responsible to resolve daily in-process quality issues for assigned value streams.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- Must have three (3+) years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Lean manufacturing experience
- ISO9001 experience
- Experience in utilizing the AIAG core requirements (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC)
- ASQ certification

responsibilities:
- Implement and manage effective process and product controls to ensure first time product quality
- Lead investigation and resolution for internal nonconformances, customer product quality complaints, and supplier quality concerns
- Assist in the development and implementation of systems and processes that promote the prevention of internal and external failures
- Assure compliance to internal, customer, and third-party regulatory standards and requirements
- Resolve daily in-process quality issues for assigned value streams
- Facilitate and manage continuous improvement teams to improve safety and drive down cost of quality metrics
- Utilize statistical data to identify and resolve safety and quality problems
