An Inpector is needed for a technology company that designs and manufactures connectors and sensors for several industries, such as automotive, industrial equipment, data communication systems, and more, in the Medway, MA area. This role ensures product quality through detailed inspections and testing, using precision tools and software, while supporting continuous improvement and compliance with customer and ISO standards.

responsibilities:
- Conduct first piece, in-process, final inspections, and testing of parts/products.
- Perform inspections per customer specs and quality standards.
- Utilize surface plate and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for inspections.
- Create and maintain inspection plans.
- Use precision measuring tools and set up inspection equipment.
- Conduct random audits during production for compliance with specifications.
- Train new employees in equipment use and inspection procedures.
- Perform receiving inspections of vendor-supplied parts/materials.
- Review calibration status of inspection tools and report issues.
- Offer guidance on inspection equipment and methods to manufacturing personnel.
- Maintain accurate and timely daily inspection logs.
- Proficient in manufacturing software systems, strong computer skills.
- Experience with surface plate inspection, precision tools, and CMM.
- Working knowledge of ISO standards.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret inspection specs and instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of technical training (including GD&T).
- 2+ years of mechanical inspection experience in a machining job shop (preferred).
