Growing manufacturer in Cleveland is looking for an EHS Manager to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, heavy manufacturing experience preferred. OSHA 30 experience is required, as well as experience with state and federal environmental regulations. Mechanical or engineering background a plus and claims/risk management and workmen's comp experience preferred. This position will require a work week of 45-50 hours per week and 10% travel to another plant.

responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance of facilities for OSHA, EPA, State, County and local policies and procedures
- Serves as the Facility's Emergency Coordinator
- Maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements (OSHA & ADEM) related to environmental programs and the health and safety of employees
- Leads incident investigations and response teams for EHS incidents
- Implements corrective actions found during investigations and audits
- Manages preventable maintenance schedules
- Conducts Safety and Environmental audits and inspections and performs routine Job Safety Analyses
- Maintains and updates MSDS MaterialsLeads the facility's Safety Committee and monitors daily production to promote safe working conditions
- At least 3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, Heavy Industrial manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with state and federal environmental regulations
- Effective communication skills to conduct training and presentations
- First Aid/CPR certification
- MS Office suite proficiency
- Must be open to some travel, less than 15% to oversee EHS operations at another facility
- Must be flexible to be available off-shift for emergencies - between first and second shift
