Large manufacturing company is seeking an Operations Manager for their facility located in the Mobile Alabama area. This position will be responsible for optimizing production, ensuring robust safety and quality standards, managing supply chain logistics, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will possess a background in manufacturing, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering operational excellence in a heavy industrial environment.

responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficient conversion of raw materials into finished products.
- Manage and coordinate all production departments, ensuring seamless flow and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Implement and champion continuous improvement methodologies to drive productivity, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead and support capital expenditure projects related to operational enhancements and capacity expansion.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as production volume, yield, cost per ton, uptime, energy consumption, and on-time delivery.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance department to establish and enforce rigorous quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Oversee talent acquisition, training, performance management, and career development for the operations team.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local HSE regulations and company policies.
