A Documentation Specialist is needed for a leader in power and automation technologies in the Pinetops, NC area. The Documentation Specialist is responsible for managing, tracking, and distributing project documents accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with procedures and supporting communication between teams and customers.

responsibilities:
- Manage documentation with proper version control in the document management system.
- Ensure compliance with company/project documentation procedures (format, registration, numbering, filing, recovery, distribution).
- Assist in preparing and updating the project document list and progress reports.
- Collaborate with shipping to verify and prepare certified reports for customer shipments.
- Confirm order information accuracy before shipment.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers regarding document-related matters.
- Contribute to improving document management processes and utilize document tools efficiently.
- Code and track documents to ensure compliance with distribution and review procedures.
- Monitor and update document status and distribution registers.
- Notify project team of document delivery deadlines.
- Organize and archive final project documents (internally or externally).
- Track and report actual vs. planned time for documentation tasks.
