job summary:
We are searching for a Quoting Specialist in the Carrolton, GA or Atlanta, GA area to work for an industry leading company. This role willl work with the engineering team to provide costs for materials and installation and price them for the customer.

This is a six month contract position that could lead to a direct hire role.

responsibilities:

Review Request for Quotes (RFQs): Analyze customer RFQs to understand requirements, specifications, and timelines.

Prepare Cost Estimates: Calculate material, labor, shipping, and overhead costs to develop accurate pricing.

Generate Formal Quotes: Create detailed quotations or proposals using company templates or quoting software.

Generate Clarifications & Exceptions Documents: Create detailed assumptions and terms & conditions as the premise for our quotes for both materials and especially to ensure Installation scope is defined.

Drive Deliverables from Engineering and Installation Teams for Costing: Keep the costing aspect from supporting teams on task and on schedule.

Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work with sales, engineering, procurement, and finance to gather necessary input for quotes.
