responsibilities:
- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and other quality and good safety standards across regional plants
- Assist with hazard analysis and HACCP program development for food product safety
- Prepare for and support internal, customer, and external audit activities
- Collaborate with plants to optimize lab and inline measurement equipment
- Maintain calibration standards for all quality-related tools and equipment
- Monitor SPC data and oversee online quality testing by machine operators
- Support mold qualifications and perform verification assessments during production
- Analyze quality issue trends and recommend corrective actions
- Review customer scorecards and assist plants in implementing performance improvements
- Partner with production teams to optimize process settings for sampling product qualification
- Lead or support quality improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Implement global continuous improvement programs at plant level
- Maintain and improve documentation systems, including customer specifications and plant reports
- Analyze plant data to identify opportunities for quality improvements
- Facilitiate root cause analysis and drive corrective action across departments
- Promote a solid quality mindset and culture across plant teams
- Act in accordance with all safety and environmental policies and procedures
