responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to approved plans and relevant codes
- Evaluate the quality and suitability of construction materials, including concrete, steel, and other components
- Verify compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, including photographs, reports and test results
- Conduct and oversee field and laboratory tests on material
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant codes and standards
- 5+ years of construction inspection experience
- A mechanical understanding/background
