Contract Instrumentation & Electrical Documentation Technician for a 4?-?6?month assignment. You will compile and review critical electrical and instrumentation documentation. Such as instrument specifications, loop wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and control elements, helping define critical equipment, spares strategy, and PM requirements. You'll provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, recommend solutions, and communicate status updates to ensure compliance and accuracy. responsibilities:
- Compile documentation including instrument and electrical equipment specifications, loop wiring diagrams, electrical drawings, P&IDs, SIF initiators, and final control elements
- Review documentation to identify critical equipment, spares strategies, validation needs, SAP criticality, PM requirements, discrepancies, and red-line updates
- Provide technical support: identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and track progress and resolution status
- Update the specification and drawing red-lines to reflect as?built conditions and improvements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree/certification in instrumentation or electrical preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial or process documentation, instrumentation, or electrical engineering support
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting loop wiring diagrams, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and specification documents
- Solid organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to document accurately and collaborate effectively with engineering and operations teams
