A Transportation Coordinator is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company. Remote work. This role requires manufacturing customer service experience and involves coordinating and tracking shipments, managing carrier and customer relationships, and ensuring on-time deliveries using systems like SAP, TMS, and FourKites, while demonstrating strong communication, multitasking, and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

responsibilities:
- Monitor, track, and follow up on inbound/outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Use tools like FourKites, TMS, SAP, and WMS to manage shipment status, appointments, and load tracking.
- Document delivery reason codes for any late or missed deliveries.
- Schedule and tender freight based on product availability, sales targets, and customer demands.
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with carriers, distribution centers, and supply chain teams.
- Proactively manage carrier and customer relationships, resolve service issues, and handle accessorial approvals.
- Manage shipment issues, including detention, returns, and EDI 214 errors.
- Consolidate customer orders into full truckloads when needed.
- Escalate and collaborate with Operations Planning, ORM, and other stakeholders as necessary.

- Experience in tactical, fast-paced environments.
- Background in logistics and transportation planning preferred.
