An Engineering Technician is needed for a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company in Overland Park, KS. An Engineering Technician with a minimum of 11 years of experience is required to lead and coordinate offshore/marine LNG design projects, utilizing AutoCAD, SmartPlant3D, Navisworks, and related software, while ensuring compliance with design standards, mentoring junior staff, and holding at least an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Technology.

responsibilities:
- Review project requirements and determine appropriate format and content for deliverables.
- Ensure all design outputs comply with relevant codes, standards, and quality requirements.
- Use advanced knowledge of electronic applications, standards, and document control procedures to create or revise design deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians or designers.
- Adhere to the company Quality Program to ensure high accuracy and compliance.
- Lead project teams in adopting and improving engineering software tools and procedures.
- Develop deliverables using various design inputs, including quantity estimates and dimensional calculations.
- Understand internal client needs and balance them with external client priorities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design technologies and share that knowledge proactively.

- Bluebeam.
- Associate or
- Bachelor's Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Technology preferred.
