An Inventory Analyst is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Waterloo, IA area. The Inventory Analyst ensures accurate inventory management through audits, discrepancy resolution, process coordination, and team leadership, while supporting financial integrity and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate material and inventory processes to align physical and system inventory.
- Conduct root cause analysis on discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineers and Department Auditors to improve point-of-use inventory accuracy.
- Reconcile variances and design preventive measures to maintain inventory integrity.
- Compile and prepare various reports including perpetual inventory and audit documentation.
- Support monthly and annual financial inventory audits (e.g., engine audits).
- Resolve inventory-related issues by participating in factory teams to improve inventory turns and accuracy.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
- Preferably experienced with SAP for inventory tracking and analysis.
- strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented with good communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of material flow and inventory management preferred.
