We're looking for a results-oriented Production Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive metal stamping and a passion for continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of equivalent experience preferred.
- Expertise in production management systems such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
- Budget management, understanding of financial metrics, and proficiency with statistical analysis tools
- Automotive, advanced metal forming processes, or heavy industry experience is preferred.

responsibilities:
- Coordinate all activities between production, shipping, maintenance, and tooling to meet customer demands.
- Drive operational availability KPIs and monitor equipment downtime, implementing corrective actions.
- Lead efforts to eliminate production scrap through Kaizen activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and mentor supervisors and direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development through appraisal processes and development plans.
- Maintain cost budgets for production and tooling, including replacement die expenditure, machines, and labor costs.
