Seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist for a manufacturer in Newnan, GA. The ideal EHS Specialist will have experience with environmental compliance agencies and will be responsible for planning, directing, and implementing health and safety programs for an incident-free work environment. This is an onsite position with an excellent, well-established fabricator using materials such as metals, vinyl, electronics, plastics, etc.
- 4+ years of experience in environmental health & safety compliance programs within a manufacturing environment

responsibilities:
- Coordinates environmental efforts and ensures compliance with OSHA requirements across the site.
- This position is responsible for compliance with all current and future Federal, State, and local Environmental Regulatory requirements.
- Ensures compliance with permit conditions to include the renewal of such permits.
- Environmental areas of concern are air, stormwater, wastewater, recycling, hazardous waste, solid waste, bio-solid land application, and chemical compliance.
- The EHS Specialist will be involved in the coaching, training, and coordination of environmental, health, and safety systems and programs as well as assisting in compliance with outside agencies.
