In this role, you will collaborate on sales opportunity assessments, hazard reviews, and checklist coordination. You'll develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules while guiding the process engineering team and serving as backup for the Engineering Manager. Drive terminal process design, from vapor lines and storage tanks to utilities, ensuring safe, optimized operation. Lead technical solutions, troubleshoot incidents, support outfittings, and mentor junior staff. Promotion of new ideas and continuous improvement is essential.

responsibilities:
- Lead evaluation of sales opportunities, define engineering scope, coordinate BRT checklist updates, and participate in hazard reviews.
- Provide process engineering support for terminal outfittings, including jetty/vapor line tracking and utility optimizations.
- Troubleshoot system incidents, analyze process data (pressure drops, vapor concentration, heat gain/loss), generate PFDs, and support system commissioning.
- Review engineering deliverables, mentor process engineers, and collaborate with operations and QHSE teams to maintain safety and compliance.
- BS in Chemical or Process Engineering (or related field) with 10+ years in terminal, chemical plant, or refinery engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to generate project deliverables (scope, cost, schedule) with minimal data, and to support multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Deep understanding of tank and utility systems, chemical properties, scrubber design, control logic, and vapor management.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, executive summary preparation, team leadership, and portfolio of past project designs.
