A Business Analyst is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Newton, NC area. This position is a support role for the Supply Chain department, using analytical and project management skills to drive continuous improvement in operations, systems, and processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring workplace safety.

responsibilities:
- Use analytical and system skills to assess and improve supply chain and manufacturing operations.
- Lead and initiate improvement projects and develop reports for continuous improvement.
- Support the implementation of new systems within the Supply Chain department.
- Focus on enhancing packaging and warehouse activities, such as improving shipping/receiving, optimizing storage, and increasing packaging efficiencies.
- Create and maintain business reports for various departments, including Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Maintain a strong commitment to a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Conduct internal and external process analysis (benchmarking) to maximize efficiency.
- strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage projects.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Access).
