A Technical Writer is needed for a manufacturing company considered one of the world's leading innovators in materials science in the Hemlock, MI area. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining clear, user-friendly technical documentation by collaborating with various teams and translating complex information.

responsibilities:
- Develop, edit, and format technical documents, including process manuals, system specifications, and guidelines.
- Work with different teams to gather information about their documentation needs.
- Standardize content across all platforms to ensure consistency and clarity.
- Review and update existing documentation to make sure it's accurate and complete.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand product details and create appropriate content.
- Translate complex technical language into simple, easy-to-understand terms.
- An associate degree in English, Communications, or a related field-or you must be currently enrolled in one of these programs.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar technical role.
- strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to understand and simplify complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency with MS Office and other documentation tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
