A Quality Inspector is needed for an American multinational home appliances corporation in the Athens, GA area. This job is responsible for identifying and documenting nonconformances on an assembly line, communicating issues to the quality team, and ensuring all products meet standards, with a minimum requirement of a high school diploma and three years of manufacturing experience.

responsibilities:
- Identify, verify, and monitor critical operations on the assembly line as defined by quality guidelines.
- Identify non-conforming components and assemblies using checklists and quality bulletins.
- Complete non-conformance tags for parts and "Hold" tags for assembled goods.
- Record and enter process turnback data into a computer database.
- Communicate effectively and escalate issues to the operations and quality teams to prevent defects from reoccurring.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to the quality team to address potential causes of product or process variations.
- Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Previous quality experience and experience with measuring equipment are preferred.
- The role requires strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and routinely lift up to 35 pounds.
