An Assembleris needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Simpsonville, SC area. This role requires an assembler with a high school diploma and at least one year of experience to build, modify, and repair complex units using various hand tools while following detailed instructions and potentially leading a small team.

responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, modify, rework, and refurbish units based on blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions.
- Utilize small hand tools like soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, and wrenches.
- Identify and select the correct components for sub-assembly and assembly units.
- Independently perform set-ups, alignments, and adjustments to maintain required tolerances.
- Potentially provide work leadership to junior assemblers by assigning and reviewing their work.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
