Leading industrial manufacturer is in search of a skilled Manufacturing Engineer within the Morrison IL area. We are seeking candidates who have a "hands-on approach" with an advanced mechanical background. Candidates must have experience with managing long term projects while switching back to day to day machinery support. A Bachelor's degree within Engineering (preferably mechanical) and 4+ plus years of manufacturing experience is required. Candidates must have solid experience with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.

responsibilities:
- Providing a hands on approach that is directly involved within the manufacturing line while managing large scale projects.
- Lead continuous improvement processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve safety.
- Identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes. This includes die & tooling techniques, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Manage projects from tooling to CAD design
- Manage of long term projects, including delegating assignments to maintenance, and operative associates.
- Implement advanced problem-solving techniques to develop permanent solutions to critical issues.
- Directly collaborate and work with production to conduct root cause analysis, develop countermeasures, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
