A Compounding Assistant is needed for a Swiss-American pharmaceutical and medical device company specializing in eye care products in the Fort Worth, TX area. This production role is for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who will perform sterile filtering, cleaning, and preparation of pharmaceutical equipment while coordinating with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

responsibilities:
Core Duties:
- Cleans and prepares processing equipment.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and performs general housekeeping.
- Conducts integrity testing of filters.
- Sterilizes processing equipment.
- Coordinates tasks and schedules within the group and with other departments.
- You must have the ability to follow rules continuously, with very close attention to details.
- The role requires an eager learner who can manage their time well and work effectively under pressure.
- The focus is on completing the job correctly, not just quickly, so you must be able to prioritize tasks and make sound judgment calls.
- The ideal candidate is self-motivated, interested in career growth, and is computer proficient.
- You should also have a high degree of technical/mechanical aptitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn aseptic compounding procedures.
Education:
- Would Like: 30 hours of college credits, including two chemistry courses with lab (8 hours).
- Prefer: Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
- Would Like: 2+ years of external pharmaceutical manufacturing experience (in areas like water systems, sanitization, sterilizer, technician), or 6+ months of internal company manufacturing experience.
- Prefer: Experience in Chemical Compounding.
