Candidates must be very experienced with robotics hardware and software. This is a long term contractor role with the opportunity for growth and career stability.

responsibilities:
- Maintain day to day lab operations, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance
- Perform robot troubleshooting, software provisioning, and sensor diagnostics
- Execute sensor calibration procedures and support testbed reconfiguration for research
- Manage testbed scheduling and equipment reservations
- Assist in setting up and tearing down hardware-in-the-loop tests, mock environments and capture configurations
- Support prototype integration, including mechanical assembly, wiring, firmware flashing, and new robotic formats
- Support integration of cloud-connected robotics systems, AI workloads, and simulation tools to accelerate validation cycles
- Experience with robotics middleware
- Experience with AI-based robotic systems, data collection for algorithm development
- Robotics simulations and integrating simulated agents into cloud workflows
- Hands on mechanical and hardware experience
