A Manufacturing Engineer Senior is needed for a technology company that designs and manufactures connectors and sensors for several industries, such as automotive, industrial equipment, data communication systems, and more, in the Wilsonville, OR area. This job is for an experienced engineer to manage the manufacturing processes for heat shrink tubing, focusing on quality, cost reduction, and technical documentation within a medical device environment.

responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the manufacturing processes for heat shrink tubing.
- Perform root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for non-conforming products using tools like Lean, Six Sigma, and 8D.
- Create technical documents, including process instructions, validation plans and reports, development plans and reports, and non-conforming material reports.
- Conduct process validation activities using the IQ, OQ, and PQ approach.
- Lead cost reduction projects with cross-functional teams.
- Work effectively with others to meet business goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Use written, verbal, non-verbal, and visual methods to communicate effectively.
- Ensure products meet quality and compliance standards for safety and effectiveness.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- A proven history of successfully completing projects that improve business results.
- Experience with polymer processing, such as extrusion or molding, is recommended.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing is a plus.
