An Inspection Technician is needed for a Swiss-American pharmaceutical and medical device company specializing in eye care products in the Fort Worth, TX area. This position is for an analytical and detail-oriented individual with an engineering background to perform microscopic inspections of injection-molded medical device parts, document findings, and support various lab activities.

responsibilities:
- Inspect injection-molded parts using magnification (8x-200x).
- Use a Keyence system to create and label digital images.
- Document inspection findings, observations, and test data.
- Create presentations (PowerPoint) and summarize data (Word/Excel).
- Support the medical device test lab's needs.
- Help develop acceptance and rejection specifications for defects.
- Work on both proprietary devices under development and marketed products.
- Must be able to identify deviations in shape, color, and surface finish.
- Needs to be flexible, able to multitask, and manage competing priorities.
- Must have a desire to investigate and analyze with some level of ambiguity.
- Requires good documentation skills, including the ability to summarize daily activities concisely.
- Involves some routine tasks, such as stocking supplies and organizing samples.
- The environment is a relaxed but serious R&D setting, with flexible breaks and lunch.
- An engineering-related Associate's degree will be considered.
- CAD experience is desired.
