An Engineering Technician Senior for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Mahwah, NJ area. This technical support role involves conducting on-site wear testing and characterization of prosthetic joint implants for engineers and scientists, performing root cause analysis, and preparing technical documentation.

responsibilities:
- Develop and recommend procedures and methods.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Perform technical evaluations to determine root cause and recommend corrective action.
- Conduct wear testing and characterization of prosthetic joint implant bearing materials and designs.
- Administer tests, including simulator setup, operation, and data collection.
- Characterize materials using techniques like white light interferometry (WLI) and coordinate-measuring machine (CMM).
- Maintain test equipment and laboratory, including managing supplies.
- Acquired through experience, specialized education, or training.
- Good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, and systems related to the role.
- Basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles.
