responsibilities:
- Supporting the production of ice cream and gelato equipment by developing and improving manufacturing processes and tooling
- Create, maintain, and optimize Bill of Materials (BOMs), making sure they are accurate and reflect all engineering and process changes. You'll also review BOMs to minimize excess inventory
- Working with vendors and the supply chain to ensure parts and materials are sourced on time and are cost effective.
- Provide weekly feedback to domestic suppliers to support continuous improvement
- Oversee product design and 3D modeling, making sure all designs follow proprietary specifications
- Work closely with an Italian engineering team to ensure products meet technical standards
- Maintain and analyze quality metrics to drive internal improvement initiatives and ensure product quality
- Partner with the inventory and procurement teams to recommend alternative materials or components
- Ensure all activities comply with environmental and safety regulations, including those for handling refrigerants
