A Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a leading manufactuing organization near Jackson, TN. The Manufacturing Engineer will focus on powertrain projects and pre-production preparation. This role is crucial for ensuring our manufacturing sites have the best equipment, tooling, and processes to meet production objectives at the lowest cost. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer who can manage capital budgets, lead trials, and resolve production issues.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or have equivalent experience) and possess at least three years of manufacturing or production preparation experience. Additionally, you should have at least one year of experience as a project leader and a solid understanding of how major model changes impact part quality. This is a long-term contract opportunity.
