responsibilities:
- Work directly with a licensed Professional Engineer to develop and implement engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Design solid waste, civil, and environmental projects.
- Become proficient in the use of design and CAD software for project applications.
- Provide schematic design information to senior engineers and coordinate with other design professionals.
- Conduct site inspections and provide construction administration.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of Civil Engineering experience.
- EIT certification is highly preferred or ability to obtain in 6 months.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, mathematics, and physics.
- Experience in solid waste, site development, and erosion control and stormwater design.
- Must pass a drug screening and possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Great communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain composure under pressure.
