A Production Planning Analyst for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Redmond, WA area. This role is responsible for developing and implementing production build plans by analyzing sales orders, ensuring material availability, and collaborating with various teams to maximize output and meet customer delivery requirements.

responsibilities:
- Analyze sales orders to ensure material availability and align due dates with capacity.
- Collaborate with Sales Support teams to manage order priorities, rescheduling, and ensure customer delivery requirements are met.
- Work with Operations Project Managers and Material Coordinators to manage engineering change implementations on the production lines.
- Actively participate in material allocations in collaboration with Sales and IBP.
- Perform analysis to identify trends and issues in production planning and participate in resolving them.
- Represent planning on cross-functional project teams.
- Use planning tools to create inventory and supply solutions.
- Support Production Supervisors and Leads in root-cause analysis related to production.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
- Certifications: APICS Certification.
- Software Skills: Experience with QAD/SAP, and advanced skills in Excel and Word.
- Professional Skills: Demonstrated planning, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a team-oriented approach.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of business systems including Sales Order management, Production Scheduling, Inventory Control, ERP/MRP, and Procurement.
- Communication: Effective written and oral communication skills.
