A Material Flow Analyst is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Coffeyville, KS area. This role is responsible for establishing and optimizing a company's material flow and movement strategy to improve productivity and inventory accuracy, while also managing stock levels, supporting assembly line needs, and providing data and system support to others.

responsibilities:
Material Flow & Movement:
- Develop and implement strategies for the flow of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Optimize material movement to increase productivity, efficiency, and inventory accuracy while reducing inventory levels.
- Respond to technical part requests from channel partners.
- Ensure adequate stock levels for new equipment introductions.
- Manage inventory for a major site or large factory.
- Resolve parts problems among warehouse, assembly, and machining areas.
- Review and analyze stock levels, focusing on newly introduced equipment.
- Assist in developing new assembly lines or rebalancing existing ones.
- Determine material needs and implement changes to optimize usage.
- Collaborate on floor plans for material flow as part of the Factory Master Plan.
- Collect, analyze, and manage data using provided tools and methods.
- Organize complex documents using standard office software.
- Provide support and advice to others on data and communication systems.
- Carry out various supplier management activities.
- Develop personal skills through training, coaching, and staying current with industry best practices and technology.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- strong skills in planning, organizing, verbal communication, computer skills, data collection and analysis, inventory management, and numerical skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience working on a manufacturing shop floor.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- An Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree.
Education: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
