A Senior Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a medical technology company focused on the repair, regeneration and replacement of soft and hard tissue in the Memphis, TN area. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing and validating manufacturing processes for sophisticated technology products, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness by leading continuous improvement projects and collaborating with multi-functional teams.

responsibilities:
- Equipment installation and validation activities (URS, FDS, IQ, OQ, PQ, and VRA)
- Cleaning validations (IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Coordinate the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
- Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
- Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
- Responsible for new product introduction and assist design transfer work.
- Conducts investigations, identifies and implements corrective and preventative actions, supports the appropriate disposition of material by providing engineering inputs in conjunction with the Quality group.
- Works with multi-functional teams to develop Process Maps, PFMEA, MSA and/or other risk analysis tools
- CNC Machining experience.
- Knowledge of metal finishing processes including bead blasting process.
- GD&T knowledge and experience
- Experience with process characterization, analysis, control, and validation using statistical tools (Six Sigma methodologies and experience).
- Materials experience/knowledge with manufacturing using (all or some): Titanium, Cobalt Chrome, Stainless Steels, medical grade plastics, etc. process.
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects.
- Proficient in MS Power Point.
- Design experience with product, fixturing, gauging, tooling, etc.
- BS in Engineering required.
- MS in Engineering is a plus.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
