Leading Electronics Manufacturer is in search of a Production Technician! We are seeking candidates who have a High School Degree with 2-3 years of assembly experience. This position has a large focus on quality, inspection, maintenance and assembly. Thermoforming experience is preferred but not required.
This is a 1 year contract position with the opportunity of being converted to a direct hire employee. Position ranges from $20-$21/hr + OT M-F 7AM-3:30PM. Benefits are available via Randstad! Please apply today!

responsibilities:
- Read and understand blueprints and routings to produce parts from them to the required specifications.
- Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced.
- Perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality.
- Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean.
- Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.
- Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety.
- Maintain inventory of product in workstations
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
- Identify product defects and report it
- Operate functional area equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards as required
- Maintain accurate and timely data
- Properly use safety equipment, including machine guarding, interlocks and safety curtains are working properly or report it
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve simple quality product issues
- Meet standards and tolerances
