Controls Engineer needed in Greenville SC area. Family owned metals and custom equipment automation solutions manufacturing client is looking for a Sr Controls Engineer 5+ years experience. Position is highly focused on automation, PLC programming and troubleshooting of capital equipment. Primarily local travel. Targeting experienced background in requirements gathering, design, configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions for the manufacturing industry.

responsibilities:
- Requirements gathering, design, configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions for the manufacturing industry including batch software, PLC / DCS systems, HMI packages, SCADA systems, Visual Basic and PC networking technology.
- Conceives systems containing measuring equipment with or without feedback to manufacturing equipment.
- Design and execute process development experiments developed with the technical team
- Serve as the Process Controls Engineer for equipment utilized and process technology within the process operations
- Set direction for site control systems technologies; Determine multi-year technology migration plans to maintain business continuity
