A promiennt manufautirng company in the Jessup, MD area is seeking a Production Line Manager. The Manager will be trained on all aspects of the chemical manufacturing process. This is a hands on position requiring a get it done, independent attitude. The Manager will develop the technical and mechanical skills necessary to transition to higher level roles within the company. This is a fulltime role, salaried in the $70K range.

responsibilities:
- Conduct wet chemical laboratory activities in support of research and development efforts and production support.
- Work with chemical suppliers to validate product quality, and develop new product lines.
- Assist in large-scale production through understanding of the mechanical and technical aspects of manufacturing.
- Develop and understanding of the mechanical and technical aspects of foam manufacturing to support production.
- Perform routine chemical inventory for research and development lab.
- Troubleshoot production variability and optimize formulations through iterative laboratory-scale testing and evaluation.
