Well known industrial equipment manufacturer within the greater Kennewick WA area is in search of Mechanic with a skilled background in inspecting, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of electro-mechanical equipment. We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals with 2+ years of relevant experience with similar types of equipment (motors/gearboxes) within a manufacturing environment.
Company offers an excellent compensation plan ranging from $27 - $29/hr - M-F 7AM-3:30 PM. responsibilities:
- Read and interpret job cards for status, limitations, and repair requirements.
- Test, disassemble, clean, and reassemble electro-mechanical equipment using proper tools and methods.
- Identify, requisition, and install replacement parts; repair or replace defective components.
- Retest equipment for proper performance and complete required documentation.
- Operate specialized repair and testing equipment safely, following all safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist other shop personnel as needed.
- Drive motors to customer sites.
