responsibilities:
- Cronducting validation and other required tests in a lab setting, specifically on ground fault protection relays and other safety-related products
- Building and testing electronic prototypes, including preparing and assembling PCB components
- Diagnosing and performing basic repairs on returned units that have failed in the field, then analyzing the failure to understand the root cause
- Coordinating and managing logistics for incoming materials and outgoing product shipments
- Tracking and maintaining inventory of project materials and components
- Placing orders for necessary parts and materials
- Reporting on project schedules and providing updates on product development timelines
- Learning and adapting to new technologies independently to support new product development
- Performing various other related duties as assigned to support the sustaining engineering team
