A Quality Inspection Technician is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Mountainhome, PA area. This job supports manufacturing operations by ensuring raw materials and finished products meet company, customer, and government standards through GD&T expertise and CMM programming.

responsibilities:
- Inspection & Compliance: Support the inspection of raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and regulations.
- CMM Programming: Use GD&T knowledge to create and provide CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) inspection programs.
- Problem Resolution: Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process by screening for non-conforming materials.
- Measurement & Analysis: Inspect parts using a variety of mechanical tools, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and microscopes.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree: and 3+ years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing operations.
- High School Diploma/GED: and 8+ years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing operations.
- Ability to utilize GD&T knowledge to create CMM inspection programs.
- Experience inspecting parts using mechanical inspection tools.
- CMM programming experience, specifically with Zeiss machines.
- Expert knowledge of GD&T drawing interpretation and implementation of measuring systems.
- Experience in aerospace industry manufacturing or quality.
- Knowledge of aerospace industry quality standards and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of ASME Y 14.5-1994 and ASME Y 14.5-2018.
