We are searching for a Buyer in Raleigh, NC to work for an industry leading manufacturing company. Candidates should have experience with manufacturing procurement and SAP.
This is a contract that is expected to last 6 months initially and could be extended or lead to a direct hire role.

responsibilities:
- Sourcing and supplier relationship management, and drive cost out initiatives.
- Drive supplier engagement and performance through scheduled business reviews for key suppliers
- Review shortages and Open Order Report to assess materials demand as required
- Facilitate the implementation of goals and objectives between corporate commodity management and the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team
- Work with and evaluate Suppliers on pricing, scheduling of materials, and planning of future orders and emergency spot buys
- Perform cost savings analysis and volume planning to identify and execute cost reduction initiatives or mitigate cost increase

- Minimum 2 years of experience
