job summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Die Set Up Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating multi-die progressive headers, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of parts. You will play a key part in troubleshooting production issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to new product development.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain multi-die progressive headers (up to 6 stations), including Sacma, Carlo Salvi, and Formax equipment.
  
  
  
  
• Perform troubleshooting and make precise adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency.
  
  
  
  
• Collaborate with engineers and tool room technicians on the development of new parts.
  
  
  
  
• Conduct thorough quality checks using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators, and accurately document all results.
  
  
  
  
• Execute daily preventive maintenance to ensure the long-term performance and reliability of all machinery.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience setting up and operating progressive multi-die headers.
  
  
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  
  
  
  
• Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment.
  
  
  
  
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  
  
  
  
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a tool and die or machinist role.
  
  
  
  
• Experience with new part development.
